yeah notice how is hand in on top of the case, i think he is holding the other side there for the shot. as the pic is so small its hard to see if the pannel is attached or infact just resting over it held up by his hand

If you use some GFX editing and use Edge Enhance, you can clearly see his hand is no where near the top of the panel.

why not cut the window through the mobo tray? couldn't you see the mobo from behind then? I think it must look very sexy, seeing all those solders ;)

    actually, thats a interesting story....

once my mate was upgrading his AST computer (err do they even still exist), and he wanted a new case.

The mobo he had was ATX and the case he got was MicroATX, he couldnt be bothered to return the case to get the right one, so he chopped of the bottom corner (in total about 12cm) and it STILL WORKED

Might not be too bad...if he were to add an opague acrylic to the window, say, umm, white or red or something, then add those ultrabright led's behind that in the small gap before the mobo wall...might not look too bad. Hell might look kinda nice.

Assuming the led's dont burn his mobo

That would actually look good if you used some of macro's polerising film, like used in project macro black!

It might be faked, though, I dun know.

looks like a pretty shoddy cut-out job to begin with, it doesn't look symetrical at all.

Well actually I have also seen a working mobo with a hole in it. A little while ago back at [H] this guy cut a blowhole in his mobo, just above the southbridge and directly throught e agp slot. It still posted.
