A/V Projector Recommendations

    Hello all.

    I don't know anything about projectors. This is for a small bedroom - the projector will be mounted about 9ft from the opposing wall (white, which I'll be projecting on).

    It doesn't need to be AMAZING or anything - in fact, ideally it would be the cheapest I could get away with - whilst not sounding like a jet engine.

    Also happy to buy second hand/refurbed.

    Any recommendations?

    Tom, I'll be selling one of these soon - since we moved house, I don't have a spare wall to project onto.

    It was a competition prize, so it'll be cheap relative to the retail price.

    if you are after one for gaming then sony 40es/55es i purchased mine brand new for a lota cash can be had for decent money on ebay, gumtree and avf classifieds , simply put the best pj for gaming very decent input lag. for project onto wall in a white room tho id seriously look into a black widow paint mix

    @David - that looks FABULOUS..... but still probably more than I wanted to spend (was hoping to pick up something second hand or whatever for like £150?)

    Yeah, was thinking more around the £350 mark posted.

    I am looking for some bits so trades are possible.

    Got any NAS HDDs, Haswell CPUs or DDR4 laptop RAM? :grin:

    if you could buy them new, ive seen the 55es go for 700 with 80 hours on the bulb recently. like i said said keep an eye out on avf classifieds prolly go even cheaper now that sonys announced new models
