So I've got a 10G network card which I use as a direct connection to my NAS but its old school green PCB and the rest of my stuff is all black.

Do you think removing the heatsinks and masking the chip surface, I would get away with coating the whole PCB with UV Curable Solder Mask off eBay like you can use to make your own PCB's would be a solution to transform its boring green into matching black?

I sprayed one of my green USB 2.0 Cards with black Plasti-Kote which worked fine afterwards.
