Modding Playing with my dremel and plexi

    I just tried etching plexi (for the first time ever) and this is what i ended up with. I lighted it with the leds in my phone so you can see it. Now to give it to my girlfriend...

    Excuse the glare of my camera, but what do you guys think for my 1st etch ever. I didnt even practice this, i just picked up a piece and etched this right on.

    Actually i slipped a few times, but not enough to show. if you want the look..... its super easy! :dremel:

    [EDIT] also, it only took me 10 minutes to do that, and it is about 4" wide 5"tall. very quick, very easy[/EDIT]

    LOL, if nothing else take a pic from a coloring book and put it under the plexi. Then trace it.

    Thanks, and my Girlfriend LOVED it. lol, mom got really jealous too!

    I saw this stuff a few weeks ago that was used in sandblasting, its like a rubber mask to keep the sand from etching where its not supposed to. The cool thing was that the guy used it to dremel some stuff on on glass.

    lol, it took me 3 shards of melted plexi until i covered my mouth and eyes,lol. alls good and well in modding though!
