My money, as to why he hasn't, is that he often has other components in place.. or partially modded, where he isn't ready to show to us yet

    Woohoo...First post ever @ bit-tech :D

@G-gnome: This case is FANTASTIC... You make all my ideas for a case look like something right out of kindergarden :cooldude:

My bad - 'Turbulence' is probably a bad choice of words. I probably should have said 'The visible movement of water at the top of the reservoirs. I should be able to tell the pump is working because the water level in the reservoirs won't be still and dead flat.

    tkwsn answered:
Ah. But if you completely fill the reservoirs, you have to look pretty hard to see any movement.

You could use one of these then, they give you readings in your monitoring software if the pump stopped working:

Other than that.... Keep it up, G-gnome

Yeah, I want one of those, but my German is pathetic, so I can't read the homepage. I also don't think they do 1/2" ID hose. But yes, I have seen those and want one pretty bad.

Absolutely stunning, I love it more every time I look at it :hip:

Just please make sure you run water throught hat pump before you install it in the system, It looks like alot of dust got into the pump it's self and could cause you problems.

Once again I bow at your feet.

You can also get this from automotive stores - it's usually sold as car body repair mesh, to support the great dollops of plastic filler people stuff in to rusty holes just before they sell the car and make an unfair profit out of the unexpecting and unwary.... But I'm not bitter...

Made by David's Isopon. I have some but it's very soft mesh and easily deformed, so though it's easy to work, also easy to mangle.

Have no fear, I will be doing as you say, although no dust got in, as I left the hosebarbs in-place and masked the ends for pretty much all of the work I did on the pump. Thanks for looking out for me. ;)

BeerNulle - Welcome to the forums! I have seen those flow indicators and thought about them, but didn't like the look of them for this project. Thanks for the suggestion though. :)

tkwsn - www.coolercases.co.uk sells them (under 'reservoirs' 10 quid) or you could talk to pug at www.wizarddesigns.co.uk and he should be able to get them for you.

Thy_Master - Control thyself dude. :D Gedron got it right about my reasons for not taking overall case pics at times. Be patient and all will be revealed in due course.

dream caster - Does my work relate to this modding in any way? No. In fact modding is probably as far as you can get from my regular job - probably why I like modding so much! :hehe:
at_b is correct - I'm in the military (Infantry).

Risky - Thanks for clearing that up :)

Thanks again for all the feedback everyone!

been a long time since I read the begining of the mod and I can't remember if you did or not but you should make sure to flush your rad too if it hasn't been done already. Makes bad things happen if you don't.

    MOD ON!

    Cool. Thanks for that.

It managed to get a good flush when I leak tested it after drilling out the holes and putting the threaded rods thru but I'll give it another one before I put everything together. I filled it and drained it several times and shook the blazes out of it with it half full. I'll run a hose through it or something though for the final flush. Thanks for the reminder.

I don't like bad things... :worried:

    :)
