Long story short, getting "Disk management console view is not up-to-date" error then trying to add mirror for one of the partitions. Tried refreshing, rebooting, "sfc /scannow", checking disk for errors, mirroring to another disk, uninstalling hidden devices, still no go. If I create new partition and try to mirror it - no problem. Last resort will be to move data to already mirrored partition, but would prefer not to. Anyone got any ideas what else i can try before that?

Have you tried via disk management directly? Loading it up from the win+x/right click start button menu rather than loading it from within 'Computer Management'.
