As he title says, what do people reccomend for no more than £50 for PC speakers? My house mate has the Creative Inspire T10's which are ok but uninspiring (ironically). Any other options?
https://www.amazon.co.uk/EDIFIER-ED..._1_15?keywords=edifier&qid=1585318140&sr=8-15 That's about as close as I can get.
Oh, I sjhould have said, they need a phono connection. And trust me, its a hard £50 limit. They're not for me, they're for a partner!
Phono as in 3.5mm or the big fat phono? You can get an adapter... In fact they may ship with a 3.5mm to RCA cable. Surely they send you everything to hook them up? https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Edifier-...409368&hash=item1a8a623cc8:g:rmYAAOSwfW5d3p6g I've had a set of those and they sound very good. They're also very nice to look at, and don't eat tons of desk space.
I've had the Edifier R1280T and S1000. They both come with an RCA cable so this shouldn't be an issue as they can connect to a computer or cell phone. If they need a different end they can get an RCA to whatever connector they need.
They sound lovely. Very good amount of thump too. Tre (Arbro) has mine now. Well, they belonged to my ex (muahahaha).
Reporting back, my partner was really happy with her Edifier E10BT Exclaim, thanks for the reccomendtion!
Yes, the Ex (ex) Mrs V-T Edifier Exclaim speakers are gracing my daughter's new desk in between the Apple 20" Cinema screen that @Vault-Tec kindly donated at the same time. I should post a pic in thanks. They're all running from a white SG13 case with a lovely Skylake ITX kit inside. That came courtesy of @nimbu, and is an unusual mobo as it's DDR3 on Skylake . I thought I'd lost some DDR3 the other week until I remembered it had gone into that rig!
