So, any finishing touches going to be applied over Thanksgiving break?

 

Sorry for the lack of updates. Has been very hectic around here lately. Unfortunatly my modding projects have been put on hold until I get some work out of the way. I can't afford to have the system down right now. If everything goes as planned I will post an update on Saturday though.

Update is not going to happen today. I am running on 6 hours of sleep for the last 48 hours. When I get home today all I want to do is sleep. Monday I will have plenty of time to finish up though....

Well no update.

My car got broken into on Sunday so yesterday I had the pleasure of comparison shopping for window glass. The idiot(s) broke out my passenger side window and completly ripped out my mp3 deck from my dash. I had that deck bolted down nice and it looks like they just used a crow bar to pull it out. The whole internal carriage where the deck sat is bent and deformed plus they broke my dash trim plate. Insurance is not going to cover it since my deductable is $500 and total damage is estimated at $300. Still that's $300 that could have been better spent and that I was not prepared to shell out. I don't understand how they did it so fast. I heard my alarm go off and by the time I got to my car everything had taken place. They had to have done everything in less than 45 seconds

 

Dang, I am sorry to hear that... but you know that they say, if someone wants it bad enough....

You need to set up the alarm with a 250 decible horn or two right inside the passenger compartment... that way, the next time they try to break in, the will be bleeding out both ears from thier ruptured eardrums!

That's lame Sorry to hear about the car. The holidays are certainly not the time for unexpected expenses.

 

Yeh, the whole success depends on their speed.

They tend to not examine closely, just see something they like.. look around from outside the car, then crack, shatter, and yoink. Then dash and to eBay the deck goes.

But that sucks dude.

...of course it means new stereo!

But still a loss, which bites.
