hey, first post...i think....*hem* anyway after searching the forum i couldn't find anyhting that resembled a list of TFT monitors that were any good for games etc. Anyone got any suggestions?

I have a budget of around £400, it has to be black and 17" (no jokes please)

Also do you thinkn this will be any good for overclocking my Radeon 9600 pro?

iiyama AS4315UTD - about £350 trade, so I'd guess it'd be about £400 retail. Very sexy 17" TFT.

Chobbler - the Ilyama Prolite E431S seems to be getting some good reviews, and you can get it in black too!

(and you can't go far wrong with Ilyama ....)

    Olly :D

Forgot to mention - I had a Dell 171FPb home on loan from work for a while. It's the new style TFT, looks similar to the new 2100FP (or is that 2000FP?).

It was pretty good for games as long as you kept on vsync which kept everything at 60fps. No problems at all at 1280x1024 on the 9700Pro.

You can grab a nice black Samsung TFT for that money, 17" ish maybe even 18", I have the 191T and if the 17" version (171T) is the same quality, it's great :) (191T was £550ish when i got it 6 months ago)
