Displays cant select 1440p with 2 monitors

So both my new lenovo 1440p monitors came today.

Od qeustion, but if i have one in i can get 1440p, if i have 2 in i can only have the original one in 1440p, there is no 1440p option under resolution.

Tried the same cable in the other monitor to see if it was maybe cable rating and nope it does 1440p as well.

I have the gtx 1080 atm, one through hdmi, and the other through display port to hdmi , my missing a trick somewhere ?, as they work individually ?

 

Try both with Displayport to Displayport cables if you can.

 

Never mind me using my ancient DP 1.3 adapters. New Dp cables aquired. My god there huge
