I'll join the idiot club. Last time we moved it was only a mile, so we made do with cars, trailers and a horsebox. To be fair we'd only been in the place we were leaving about a year so hadn't gotten fully settled. We've been at our current abode about 9 years, I'm not looking forward to moving if / when we do, and with daughter moving out next week we may downsize some.
Neck meet block. Stair climbing hand truck?!?!?!?!?, pffft man up, you don't need that, just use sweat equity and the finely honed physique god gave you.
We have a two wheeled sack trolley/dolly/whatever you call it and they do make moving washing machines and the like easy as pie. Looking at that image it does look like it'd make it easier to hulk it up stairs but the design still looks like there's a bit of hauling needed. Definitely still need somebody on the other side guiding the thing unless you want to be on 24hours in A&E
Have you a storage unit place near you? My local one (B E Webb) have flat bed trollies and those stair climber things in your picture but they are motorised, so the wheels will rotate up or down the stairs for you with no heavy lifting or pulling. You can rent them even if you don’t have a storage unit with them. They also sell boxes and packing materials. And giant condom like bags for your mattresses.
Having spend the day moving our daughter out into her first place, I may be convinced to change my mind on this point. Although mostly it was a pain the the backside as it had to be done in 1 day, and every bloody piece of furniture had to be totally disassembled to get through her new front door.
In previous places of employment, I was trained how to use a Stanley motorised stair climbing sack barrow, surely you can just hire one? Edit: One of these bad bois
