Meh, the All-In-Wonder cards were by far the best ATi AGP cards. They had TV output AND a TV tuner built-in, ferchristssake! IIRC only a tiny number could do full non-interlaced RGB SCART, but I think they all did S-Video - way better than that messy composite crap.

Nvidia and 3Dfx kicked their arse seven ways from Sunday in gaming though. Plus ça change, plus c'est la même chose, I guess.

I like the way you explain what it does after stating it's called an 'all-in-wonder' as if it was a mystery hahaha! The 9800pro they did of them was awesome, I wanted one, for absolutely no reason as I had a tv in the same room, but they were cool as, definitely!

:p: And you think they're going to know what a forum is, let alone component/s-video etc is, let alone a coaxial/analogue tv signal is :naughty: :wallbash::grin:

Entered my first ever model competition while at the Abingdon IPMS show yesterday, ended up winning double gold in science fiction. we (the club) also took 1st in the 1/72 aircraft catagory and walked away with the trophy for best table at show.

You’re right, 6 miniguns might not be enough.

As one member of my old Arma2 DayZ group once said: we're already heavy on the boom boom department but there's always space for more

I may just have convinced my boss that, as a scientific instrument company, we should look into an AR solution for "Will it fit" questions, instead of the ream of paper/jigsaw "full-size outline" that Sales say they want to send out.

European wide Teams meeting in my new role in HRIS since transferring in May, been happy but anxious in the job due to a somewhat toxic sales office I was senior Admin in.

All the seniors talking and thanking people for their hard work in projects and all that, my boss is talking, he works with a lot of people in the European team, I hear my name, some nice comments about my attitude to the work and drive to learn ....I am not used to this!!
Them more people join in about me.... what is this, I'm used to being moaned at by sales people and at most a back handed compliment and being made to feel grateful for having a job in the sales office.

Such a contrast and a great boost to my moral and drive to just better myself.

I oficially moved in to my new role as Hardware Engineering Lead in the tech team, basically the same as I've been doing but leaving all of the day to day operations stuff behind! I'll finally have time to read the patents I'm a part of! My streaa levels have already been so low since I knew this move was coming and I'm super excited about being able to focus on inventing the future!

Watching this video when suddenly I spot someone very familiar...

"Wait... wait a goddamn minute... Is that... is that the buff saxophone guy from that one song in The Lost Boys?! Holy crap... it is that buff saxophone guy from that one song in The Lost Boys!"

Yes, I know his name is Tim Cappello, and yes, I know he's pretty damn awesome. Was an instant nostalgia hit as soon as I recognised him, I played the crap out of The Lost Boys soundtrack when I was a young teenager...
