Music Steve Wright RIP

Blimey, Radio 1 DJs from my youth are falling like flies. First Annie Nightingale, now Steve Wright. I remember revising for my O levels with these two on in the background.

 

A companion for many motorway trips down the years.
A sad loss.

A sad loss indeed.

 

I was never a fan of Steve Wright’s presenting style but, I remember Mr Spoons and the Richard Cranium awards.

 

40 years at the beeb - bloody legend.

He wasn't my cup of tea but, still, legend

Same, never really my thing when he was R1/TOTP but he always seemed decent and ever present.

Happily listened to him as I got older on drives.

 

Ahh the old classic that was the custard pie.
