Hey... I have almost finished my Diablo mod looks really great (pics below) anyway... I have one more idea i might actually want to incorporate into the case itself.. Something with the front... I am thinkin about cutting a window, bending the plexi to the curve of the case (yeah, i know that will be a pain) .. then putting an applique on the window (something like this id modify it to just be the paladin) anyway, i was thinkin about using the technique i saw at metkumods .. but i don't know if it'll be worth it (or make it seem like too much for the look right now) anyway, the pics with some descriptions: Just a shot with the lights on so ya kinda see what it looks like ... the drives are grey, i know, but thats cuz I havent gotten the drives i want specifially for it yet and yes I know.. i got a mess for a desk (and yeah, the missing fan in the upper left of case.. still waiting for an ultra slim 80mm to fit it between pannel and psu ) Lights off this time... I like the glow I get with it (too bad its not night, it'd look cooler.. I think the glowpad kinda adds a nice touch to the whole thing ? maybe? Ah, the feature of the case the diablo cut out (out of metal, and frosted plexi behind it to give a solid glow) and the blizzard logo (dremeled out of 1/4inch plexi) I think it looks good. Anyway... should I try to add the front window with the applique, or would it take away from the "darkness" of the case? Any comments or suggestions would be awesome (even if they are "dude your case is horrible") - ill learn to deal, and make a better one next time
The case looks cool. Shame about the hole have you thought of putting a guard there for the time being. maybe you could go for this one
thats pretty cool. im working on a game based mod too.. *more to come soon* ::EDIT:: How did you make your blizzard logo? I need something similar for my mod : ::EDIT2:: Forget the above. I actually read all of the post this time shame my dremel skillz suck for anything more than cutting windows.
it wasn't that hard to dremel it... just took a lot of time... patience... just draw out the logo in like sharpie, and then use a depth guard if ya got one... helps A LOT .. move slow.. and it looks great
Are you going to get those cd-rom's stealthed? Otherwise I wouldn't know what to say, it's all goooood!!
pretty good job the pain job is a little if'y but other than that good job you should try to make a blizzard fan grill that would be sweet...blizzard or maby something to do with diablo 2 also you should definately stealth thoes drives then it would be super case
whoa- raised the dead. Yeah, I am stealthing the drives when i get the ones I want in it. Right now this computer is going to become a server as soon as I finish my other case - - so I don't wanna stealth drives I am just gunna take out Thanks for the input tho!

Excelent casework... maybe you could do a flaming DIABLO II window above the demon... have it backlit with orange on top and red at the bottom of the window....
Really good job on the case. As I was a D2 addict once myself, its a great tribute to the game. A grill would be sweet.
man, i didn't even make it that far.. heh... It is kinda amusing when people see my case and go 'oh! you like d2? we should play' and i kinda do the whole 'well.... maybe some other time' thing. I guess i'm just a bigger fan of the story and the art then I am of the game.. click of death! WOO!
