Recently i've noticed lots of people like to modify Xbox's. after having my cube for about a month i decided it needed a paint job and a window just thought i'd share some pix of it with you cube close: cube open: ahhh at last that little warning i painted over makes sense. don't look at the laser and now you can notably you can see the laser through the cd and watch it move around. every game i've seen so far reads the outside edge then inside edge and does some dancing. might have to find the bits to take it apart to repaint and re window it. after a couple years use it's got a bit woren.
looks like it was a prett good job. but as youve said, its gotten someuse and wear. you can se some yellow through the black
ROFL @ the ATI sticker. Best game cube mod I've ever seen [EDIT] BTW, when you re-do the paint job, bondo the "nintendo" insignia, and any other impressions (like power, open, whatever). It'll give it a "cleaner, more professional" look. [/EDIT]

yes the color scheme was a bad pick. but as someone said it looks better than the purple ones, and thats what it started as. this was also quite literally my first attempt at painting plastic. the bondo idea would have been really nice to have known when i did it. the ati isn't a sticker though, thats part of the cube...and frankly i should have painted over it as i perfer nvidia.
nice work sure there are mistakes, but it still looks pretty good if you get over them i've pondered the idea of doing a cube up to go with my zelda pc case... hehe, i just need to find some disposable money to get one with
Heres a pic of my friends un-modded brand spanking new (not even three days old) game cube. Note, there is no ATI sticker, but there is a place for it. I've seen 10 other game cubes exactly like this one, but never one with an ATI sticker
Bizarre. Then again I have a purple one and it comes with a sticker. Maybe black ones don't have them

Its O.K however i would Redo that pain with blue/sivler maybe? you could also clean that windows as wel.. other then that GREAT job A for efford ah.. C for overall aperance
