i've seen this done a while ago... but still nice. i just wish i had $150 to spend on an LCD, EDIT: he should have just used the LCD as a second monitor for audio visualizations, movies, etc.
I bought one in Belgium for about €60 more then a year ago modding it IN the case is actually not such a good idea cous the viewing angle isn't very wide Now I'm making a plexi-construction to put the TFT somewhere on my desk And another advantage of my LCD, the pcb is rectangular and not much bigger than the actual screen, wich is usefull when you don't have much room I had modded it in 2 drivebays with a painted plexi cover, but with my new case ...
heh, in the middle of wiring my second one, pics will have to wait (secrat ) my first one in a LiLi (parts express)
thank you, this picture illustrates the small viewing angle perfectly look at the top right corner and compare it with the rest of the LCD that's not very good if you want to check on your system temp when your case is standing next to you, you have to lean to a side just to see it
got some plexi left I'm gonna try and bend it with a hair-dryer or a paint-remove-gun and then attach the LCD I think it will be better to make it a stand-alone mod, so you can move it, coz I like to move my pc : sometimes it's on my desk on the left, then on the right, then below my desk ...
