the first systems analasys lesson of 2004 and we have to detail how to make tea. how lame can college get. sofar i spent abotu 10 mins workin it out and browsing these forums. i arrive at 1 a4 typed page on how to make tea

making tea for noobs

you will need 4 main ingrediants to make tea.
these are

milk
water
tea (bags or leaves its upto you.)
kettle or a pan

now to make the tea. there are 2 main ways to make tea with either leaves or bags. so in effect there are 4 different ways to make tea but the methods are the same for the 2 methods (cup or teapot bag or leaves)

tea in a tepot

first you will need enough water to fill the pot 2 times. warm the water up and fill the pot to warm it up (makes for a nicer cup of tea) then boil the seccond lot of water. using the kettle

when the kettle is about boiled empty the warm water out of the pot. then put in your tea(bags or leaves) use 2 bags for a medium/large teapot. (makes 4 cups of tea) or 1 tsb or leaves per person (4 in this case) now pour the boiled water into the pot. stir for 1 min put the lid on teh pot. leave to brew for a further 5 mins. for optimal flavor. stir once more.

before pouring the tea from the pot into the cup/mug add a small amount of milk to the bottom of the cup. and pour the tea from the pot into the cup. and stir.

the only difference with the tealeaves is that you may want to use a tea strainer to makesure there are no leaves in the tea if you want a smooth cup. or you can always drink teh tea and leave a small amount in the bottom of the cup. altho the teapot method usally means there are less leaves in the bottom of the cup.

for the cup method you put the tea in the cup and make as per instructions above. there is no puring inot the other medum. you will need to remove the bag before adding the milk.

milk must be added first for optimal flavor. people will argue this.

sugar may be added at the final stage altho thes makes for sweet tea wich i personally dont like. as it detracts from the flavor of the tea.

Are you becomming a culinary artist or something? If so, you might want to spice that tea up a bit.

haha, I remember doing this for my Alevels... making tea is an easy one, we had to do setting up a computer

So glad I ain't ever got to do it again.

tastes nicer IMO so i put it in with no sugar as thats how i like tea
