Right, im painting my xbox up, and after leaving it for an hour to dry (can says 40mins) to move it inside, i test touched it to see if it was dry, pulled my finger away, to see a big ugly finger print.

Its in quite an obvious place, and i aint use plasticote paints before.

Any advice on best ways to tidy this up ???

Aside from putting lots of fingerprints on it I have no ideas due to my lack of paint knowledge.

    Sorry!

Sand that layer down (wet might be a good idea) and add another coat or two. Im not aware of how well plasticote reacts to sanding, but use fine paper and maybe do it wet and you should get a nice finish.

I cant urge people strongly enough to be patient with painting. When I paint a component Ill spend 3 days on multiple coats and sanding. Especially if youre doing a wet sand for that automotive finish look... always goes best at a snails pace.
