Hi i have got this idea in my head. See picture below What i want to do i fill the hole i have cut and then leave a space for a lcd then mount the lcd into the door. Is this posible and if so could someone explain how Cheers Richman
Yeah, I've seen that done before. You can easily just cut a piece of plexi to fix the door and then mount the LCD behind the plexi. Or you could cut a piece of modder's mesh to fit the door and then cut out a space for the LCD. Just run the wires very close to the hinge and leave a little slack so that it can be opened and closed. I haven't done it personally but that's how I would do it.
Sure is possible.. One way to do it is use acrylic/plexi cut to fit in the opening. Paint the plexi your color of choice, keeping in mind to tape over the area where the display will be mounted. Then just glue it in place. Another option would be to use a small guage sheet metal or aluminum. Or carbon fibre, or fibreglass, or etc....... It is entirely up to you what you use, and depends on your skills when working with any of the above mentioned materials.
Aye, the only thing with that is the LCD isnt flush with the rest of the door which is a bit of a downer, as thats what would make it look very proffesional. ...
looks alot more like an antec or chieftech. Alienware classic cases have the word *alienware* written along the side.
