what are everyones CPU and Case temps? I had my AMD XP 1700+ runnin at 1.47ghz at a steady 44 degrees C with a thermaltake 6 CU+ on it... and the case was at roughly 20-25 C....
i got: Athlon TBird 1.4Ghz (Thermaltake Volcano 7) 1Gb DDR Ram 80gb HDD GF3 Ti500 (ThermalTake Crystal Orb) 4 x 80mm Evercool low noise fans all in antec/chieftec/chenming sx1030b CPU Idle: 35 ---- Case: 22 CPU Load: 42 --- Case: 27 all temperatures in Degrees Celcius.
forgot to mention, my HSF sits on standard thermal goop, soon to change to Arctic Silver 2. that shud improve temps. then i might consider overclocking. but im more of a modder than overclocker.
does anyone have mbm working wiv an asus a7v266e? mbm says its not possible. well anyway, my temp readings in asus probe are 33c some times they'll drop as low as 30c but thays if it a bit chil;y hsf - swiffy mcx462 2 x 80mm fron intakes ( think thye are 50cfm adda's, not totally sure) 2 x 46cfm ystech exhausts at rear and an exhaust on the inner side of my enermax psu
msi k7t266 pro 2 athlon xp 1500+ w/ retail heatsink and fan 2 x 80 mm fans idle temp: 40 c load temp: 43-45 c
CPU Temp: 34 System Temp: 28-29 Degrees in Celcius new case should be here any day and that will help with the system temp. CPU temp not bad for a P4 1.4 running at 1.75GHZ!!!
Ive had my new setup on for about and hour and a half installing drivers and program and stuff like that...... my current temps according to MBM5 are as following: Case 1: 22 C Case 2: 22 C CPU: 33 C Im satisfied..... thats roughly 10 C it went down on the CPU temp...... cant complain, especially considering that my room is 24 C right now..... booya! mission accompllished!
Mine are just way way to high and i know it Idle 52oC Load 56oC i need to upgrade this ****ty coolermaster thing but at least its quiet
i got the a7v266-e and mbm works fine, i get 44 idle and 48 load for uncompensated and about 36 and 40 if i do compensate as the asus mobos tend to report higher temps....
you should make this thread a ' sticky ' that way no one will have to keep asking, even i asked this one a while back
Room temp = 22 case temp = 23 CPU = 42 the cpu is higher than before i got my lian-li, the cpu was about 36-7 but now there is a hotspot with no airmoving on the mobo in the middle below the cpu
Keep in mind that everyones temps are going to be very different and should not be used as a serious reference point. Every motherboard will measure temps differently. In most cases, your BIOS or MBM is giving you a much lower temp. To be more accurate you should use an LCD thermal probe. But even that wont give you the 100% accurate temp. Just thought I would jump in. And to be on topic..... 21c case 42c cpu (full load running seti cli and using thermal probe) Epox 8k7a @ default voltage XP1600@1575 Alpha PAL8045 with ASII and a 92mm enermax adjustable fan set to it's lowest setting
