    If some of you have been as fascinated with the lighted fan mod as I have read on.

    Last weekend I just finished my own lighted fan with parts from Radioshack and www.fiberopticproducts.com. The illumination intensity and swirl patterns are identical to what you would get from bought fan from www.pcmods.com. If there is interest I can build a page that guides step by step the process in creating one of these bad boys.

    Compared to others that have tried to do it themselves, this fan is very stable, and produces some very cool effects.

    Please post if you have interest in the mod to tell me whether or not to take the time to develop a web page. Thanks for your interest.

    I'm very interested, i messed with trying to make one, but had trouble find flexible enough fiber. Which did you use from that site you posted? More info plz!!!!!!

    A guide would be great! I saw one before that wasn't that good, so a good guide with lots of nice pics would really be great :)

    Bit-Tech Article

    I have talked with Macroman at bit-tech and he asked me to publish a full article. I have agreed and will hopefully have a in-depth article with photos at the end of next week. Hope you check it out when its finished.

    How do i post pictures?

    I have three photos of the finished thing taken with a pc camera. They are not the greatest but they get the point across. Just tell me how and I will.

    you need to upload them to some webspace (preferably not geocities or tripod), then hit the littl IMG button right above the text box and enter the url for the picture... or type: [​IMG] where http:// is the url for the picture...

    for future reference, photoisland.com will host your pictures, plus they have a "link for auction etc." which makes the pics postable in forums, that's where i host all mine since tripod are such jerks about it
