Yeah i will have some updates in aweek or so guys as im chaing new psu so gota re-wire the beast and getting a nice 9700PRO graphics cards that needs a power cable going to it so i will see i also got some two LED red fans/. But for some reson my cathods are now VERY dull they are no were near as bright before anyone go ideas?
I have spent much more than 3 hours on cables... In all my cases all my cable as lengthened and shortened to just fit and I remove and wires that I will not need (i.e. P4 connector). My last case was about 5 hours in working in the powersuplly changing the PS fan and cutting, extending, etc. the wires... I agree that I does not matter how long it takes as long as you are happy with the out come. I have over 30 hours in project fast mod and I will probably have 30+ more when I am done but I enjoy it very much. By the way check out the project, you will like it... I hope. Had to have a pic here too
Unfortunately, my camera has been shipped for repairs a few weeks ago, so I can't take a picture of my raunchy mess of cables in my case. I really have to get started on cleaning the wiring!
ID say that it was most defintely worth it-especially with such a drastic temperature change simply ue to some wire management! With how badly the cables in my computer are, the temperature will likely drop 10 or more degrees, lol!
Damn I Thought I was getting mine relativly neat as well...... feel soooo messy now. Pug - that machine is pure tech pron!
Can you tell me what sleeving kit you used please? I used the Vantec kit and it was utterly ****e, just couldn't get it to go over the molex plugs or even the 3 pin connectors. Any tips on fitting this stuff will be gratefully recieved.
Ah well - ask santa for a new camara!!! BUt its well worth it, i spent only 2nours on my "mess" and its now where near as good daniel
TechFlex from Fleetwood Computers dfk - I cheated mate I bought both male and female molex removal tools click in pop of x4 one done takes about 15 seconds a connector. the 3 pinner's use a jewlers flat blade screwdriver, place the molex flat on your worktop, place the screwdriver directly on the silver pin and push down lightly, gently pull on the wire you are trying to remove and it should pop out. (not greatly clear but hope it give's you an idea). fuzzygoblin why thank you RobbieGSM - sorry you can have your thread back now......
