I like it, very clean, and straight up neat, organized, well thought out. Not that I would build that for myself, but I can deff. see a lot of good things about it.
ohh! the humidor pc guy! I read that article in popular science good stuff. Nice Art Deco case too. It would be nice to have a pic of the guts tho.
Wow. I was so impressed with the Humidor, after reading about it on Mini-ITX, and this just gets even better. You would not happen to have any details from when you were building it, would you?
Thats pretty nice, but i feel that the toggle switch on the top of the left hand side is a bit prominent? Maybe put it at the back or something?
Thanks everyone. I agree about the toggle switch. I agonized over that. It has a lot to do with the interior arraignment. A step by step article is in the works but there are some illusions going on here that I want to preserve for a while.
That looks really sexy. Excellent craftsmanship. I would love to see that page translated with one of the ebonics web translator dealies.
OK How's this: Yo buss dis. "Machine Age design emphasis on practicality an' efficiency achieved trough a reductive word list uh forms epitomized de ethos uh de Machine Age: clean, lean, an' devoid uh ornamentation." Sheeit!
I think that he meant building it out of wood for the look of the wood, so I don't think that he'd be painting over it so quickly. But thats just what I got out of it.
Ya, I like the look of the cherry wood. I want to make one that uses QT110's for switches, and is all wireless (Besides the power plug) One topic: what did you use for that chrome end-cap?
