Project Centurion All Star {~50%}

I've been browsing these forums for some months now and i finally got round to posting. So i guess i would show my case first I guess it's about half done

Anyway, Santa (you gotta love the guy) brought me this last year:


The hardware i had lying around:

(P4 1700, 256 RAM, Asus P4Te, GF4 Ti 4200, SB 5.1 Live, 2x Realtec Nic).

Cable's comming from the front shortened and sleeved.


Stealthed drives:

Wasnt done properly, so i have to do it again sometine.


Next I removed my Floppy-drive (who needs them anyway) and mounted a 16x2 LCD:


Then I started thinking about window designs, these are cut out of cardboard:


The final design:


Then I got a new PSU (q-tec 550w). I sleeved it and put on some diamondplating:



Some brand new stuff i ordered.

just a little experiment:

turned out to be quite nice, tho powering the inverter was a little problem... Maybe someday I'll sort it out.

Then i cut out the standard fangrills...


A filter for the intake and some (fake) diamond plating to reflect the light comming from the front CCFL's


some extra cable management:


cffl's + some other modstuff added. total shot with flash. I removed my stealth drives tho...

The lcd isnt visible in the last pic's, cuz the power wires were broken

- baybus (PWM or PIC controlled, DIY fo' sho')

- a special paintjob for the right sidepanel

Wow Zwieke,

That sure is a nice looking window you have there. I like it even better in the dark with the case all lit up...very cool. It kind of reminds me of a design you might see in classic rock and roll, or maybe even disco .

I do got enough of money, so modding all the way. But I can't mod due to the rain and work (for the cash ). I hope to be able to mod in this vacation..damn rain!

a little update. Did this stuff quite some time ago, but forgot to post it here

Finished my casefeet, and i've put a small mirror in the bottom.

Making a piece of plexi round.... (with my brother as a model )


sanded them matt.


First one. incl LED.


3 of the 4 casefeet in action. The one you cant see is also red.

1st off --> nice feet you made there

But why did you choose for multi-color-feet? I mean...why didn't you choose red or blue only?
And i question, what kinda leds are you using for the feet, what #mm?

I used red/blue leds because the rest of the mod has a combination of red and blue lights
the leds used are 5mm and are rated 3000mcd.
