all the pics are taken with RGB leds....
ill be glad to choose more colors, bgut i still dont know how i will manage with the switch....

 

Hi ! just got back with some cans of black spray paint,

started to sand again and again all the panels,

but you'll see in the pics - for the top panel, I tried sanding with 400-grit and water, after less than a minute it got unbelievable smooth (white) !!!

I will give some try with sanding the black (not the case) and other techniques....

I'm supposed to wait 24H between each layer, so tomorrow Ill continue...


while painting, I was saying to myself.... 'All these small annoying flying things crashing into the fresh-painted case..... YUCK !'

starting off with a good shiney solid black
great jo so far

 

when you wet sand you should soak the sandpaper in water for a minute or to and use alot of water not just tiny droplets you will get it even smother

just before going to school, i painted all rest, and stated to use second can.

(even painted little buttons)

the windowed side panel is ready, and now is installed with all parts....
rest of the case will be ready tomorrow, and i will continue with rest of modding

please give me more case modding ideas !

What about painting the catches and machine screws black to match the rest of the pannel?

i dont know if i will paint the locks... i cant open them... and i dont want to paint them without opening them...

What do you mean, "I can't open them". Are they fake? If they are, why are they there? . I speak for myself --> I don't like a good looking case with 2 white "dots" on it. . But...your choose. Keep up the good work

Yeah, what Xeno said. It really stands out from the black color on the rest of the case and prevents it from getting that professional look to it.

The window looks good, but I woul probably use other screws.
I would use this type:

(Sry, I don't know how they are called in English )

 

I'm using those for my case too! I like them because it's different from the rest, and the shape is just...perfect!
