You know, with MS past history, you would have thought they'd have had a little Dutch Boy on call to plug these leaks... This from the Beeb:

Microsoft, the world's largest software maker, is racing to solve a flaw in its internet browser that may allow hackers access to computer systems.

The net security watchdog, the Computer Emergency Readiness Team (Cert) has issued a warning, saying there were signs it was being exploited.

Problems arise when a user unknowingly clicks on a bogus web link, triggering a download of software.

Malicious hackers could then have access to data and files on the PC.

bet they havent, if rtt or someone can get stats you'll find that the vast majority of users are IE users :(
and over the whole web IE generally accounts for between 70 and 90+ % of users depending on which stats you look at

    *looks at GOO suspiciously*

Sorry, only say that because I just forwarded that to my mother to warn her, and she read it to the link and went (and I quote) "Is that one of those links the article means?? I'm not clicking that!!!!! Why is he posting it like that!! I don't want a virus!!" ... and tried to stop me clicking on it to prove her wrong ...

    *sigh* ...
