Forums go down or is it me??

    Is it me or did the forum database go down for everybody as i tried to get on and it said it was down. I then tried about 15 min later and all seems ok. Do i need to worry or was it just an update to the site?

    You know what ? I know why it went down. I have seen it happening lots of times in other forums. It is a bug of SQL.

    Forgot to mention that I have tryed to contact both the web-site people and few mods but nobody seemed interested to know what I had to say.

    Strange, since anybody could make this forum down ( even if just for minutes ) that easy.

    Did you guys actually tryied to do what I have explained.
    I did and I had the same msg that was on the forum when it went down.

    If you can't take it seriously ... well I can show you how it works. My explanation may be a bit "empiric", I am not the most famous expert. Indeed my English is crap but I do assure you that that was the reason why the forum went down.
    Like I said I can show you how easy it is to make it happen any time.

    I have seen it in other forums and it is well known.

    I just find it rediculous that you can claim to determin the problem, and announce it as fact, I mean the amount of thousands of possible causes based on individual servers/domain/networking, etc.

    I pretty sure that error message was generic..

    Anyway, thats why i was amused, as acrimonius said, "chill".

    You don't understand do you ? Make me know when your are on line and I show how easy it is do make it happen.

    Will that give me the rights to "claim to determin the problem, and announce it as fact" ?
    Will that do for you MR smart ass ?
    Will that stop hilarity when somebody is just trying to be helpfull.
