    they are so much cooler looking than the new swiftech CPU blocks

    what is the difference in performance between the new swiftech CPU blocks and the old ones, since we've already established that the old ones are much sexier

    I dunno what happened to them, but i totally agree with you that the old style ones are the best looking block ive seen.

    And they seem to have given up on quick connects. A shame if Swiftech end up producing the same stuff as everyone else.

    Well by the looks the new one should be better for the placement of your tubing, you don't need it in two directions. But I agree, the old block is much cooler looking. The new one is asking for something to be done to it.

    Those blocks are still available if you look.

    Like www.coolerguys.com has some. And they are discounted a bit too.

    Tis a shame they stopped producing them. I am a lucky owner of one, along with thir GPU block, make a very good pair. And yes, IMO they are the best looking blocks around. However the bi-directional thing is annoying, and severely limits your setup options. However It adds to the novelty of the great blocks.

    Gone but not forgoten :D

    (makes me an antique collector :p)
