It will. They are going to ruin the Transformers. They'll either use ****ty cuostumes, or CG, either way, in the end it won't be like the original.

Are they trying to do a remake of the original movie, or just a transformer themed movie?

 

Umm, live-action Transformers. Sounds absolutely terrible.

I can't even begin to imagine how badly they will mess it up and spoil the entire thing.

Itll be CG. Apparently the inital renders were pretty good according to a friend in the industry.
Dunno what the story's like though.

 

Sounds like it could be mint if Dreamworks are gonna be involved. The way CGI is going, I don't know why any of you are worried. I can't really see them doing a Thunderbirds and screwing up the storylines as the new series and the comics have already dispensed with most of the past anyway.

It amuses me that there is so much concern over a live action version of a KIDS TV series and toys range

 

I hope they stick to the orignal.

I concur with mook, if it's Dreamworks it'll probably be pretty sweet.

By the way, the new Transformers game is class. Check the decent reviews everywhere, including EDGE.

 

There's absolutely no way they'll be able to better the original movie in my eyes.

The 80s cock rock soundtrack and manga-esque artwork gets me everytime!

That is the single most amazing soundtrack ever, hands down.
The animation quality of the original transformers was way before it's time, and is in fact, timeless.
