See what the BT crew thought: http://www.bit-tech.net/review/315/

Im not from the US so aint too good on prices there, but frozencpu.com do it for $299 without the VGA block so $250 for it aswell seems ok to me.

I'd definately give it a go. The performance looks good considering that it is fanless. I think some quick-disconnect fittings would be extremely useful. Having my pc attached to that big blue rad would be a pain.

I have one of those. Nice bit of kit if silence is what your after. It's certainly NOT an extreme cooling solution. It's better than aircooling, but not by much.

When people say it's silent, it really really is.

Shouldn't be too hard to find. I think Pug sells some.

Ideally you'd want bulkhead fittings which would look damm fine with that kit, imo.

wow I've been looking at that watercooling system... since I'm getting an SFF computer I also wanted a water cooling system. unfortunaly due to the small size there is almost no space. this looks like a great solution and very simple/effective. One question... does it plug into the wall or your PSU? does it suppor 110v and 220v?

I know it plugs into a wall. I'd imagine the pump voltage varies by where you get it. I know US ones use 110v...

Anyone thought of the idea of making a shroud to go around one of these, put a quiet fan on top sucking out air and seeing what happens to performance?

it has been suggested many times Firehed. Kinda destroys the point of silent watercooling though doesn't it!

Not if you use a quiet fan... some 120mm silenx or something.

Despite my previous post I have looked into this. You'd need a 14cm diameter fan (from memory) which I'm sure you can get, I just don't know where from.

I would look into this more serious, except that I've currently got my server running off my reserator. As it's a P4b 2.6ghz anyway, theres really no need for me to overclock it or increase the cooling at all.

Look in old servers if possible, I salvaged 4 out of one towering beast. Some of them will have odd connectors but easy to figure out.

I wonder if the reserators can work just as efficiently laying on its side. What I mean is, why not create a mounting bracket where the reserator is suspended in mid-air on the top of the case, running the length of it. It is perfect for someone really not wanting to overclock, basically exactly what you are looking for :thumb:

I wouldn't think so, since the bottom half of the fins would dissipate their heat either back into the reserator or into the fin above it. And depending how filled it is, the top fins wouldn't do anything. I think there's a reason it's vertical...
