Oh dear, what's the 'stylish' Chav-about-town to do now, with the demise of his beloved headgear? ;)

A baseball cap is being dropped by Burberry because it is the hat of choice for football hooligans.

The fashion house is concerned at the effect on its image and has stopped production of the cap, which sells at around £50.

The move is reported in the Daily Mirror which says the company will not confirm why it has taken the decision.

    More here at Sky News

You can hear the collective weeping all over the country. Trakkie bottoms will be worn at half mast as a sign of respect for the cap's passing. :hehe:

Hey, it must be if that bastion of reportage "Sky News" is covering it. ;)

[EDIT] Ooops - just spotted what you mean... :duh:  :D

It's been a long week, and GOO is obviously operating on autopilot. Moving!

Well, in the same way that people will pay $1000's for a prada handbag, muppets pay through the nose for "proper" Burberry stuff...

Dolts. Even if I like an Adidas pair of shoes (which I've only liked one pair), I go to the flea market and get knockoffs (which usually last longer, in my experience) for less than half the price.

Never, works that way for me. Shoes that are cheap, usually get destroyed within a month.

On topic, wonder what hat they will choose next?
