    eBay is also your friend. 50 for £5 deals aplenty if you don't mind them being shipped from Hong Kong

    nah man , look on ebay for a seller called cwithk , he is fantastic , always free shipping and always free resistors with them. I use him all the time.
    fantastic , 50 for 5 quid as above guy said.
    dont buy from maplin ( i work there and always tell people not to buy from us )

    Surely 50 is a bit excessive though when only 2 are really needed?

    It's especially excessive when your buying LED's of questionable quality. Don't screw around with buying a large amount of low quality LED's, even if you 'can just replace them' its not worth the effort. I ordered mine from LSDiodes, and I've been more than happy with them. They come shipped in a nice padded envelope and I don't have to worry about what's going on in Hong Kong.

    I wouldn't mind betting that the ones from LSdiodes are from Hong Kong as well....
