Its a work in progress. Hellbound's Worklog Blowhole fan is utilized as exhaust, not intake. The Spinner wouldn't rotate mounted on back of fan. Bottom of ring is recessed for circular piece of mesh.
holysh1t, that thing is bloddy awesome, could you make a project log over here for us bit-tech'ers, thats one very nice case, how did you make thoes drive covers, that looks like cnc'd aluminium(edit, just read part of the other worklog, dremel'd alu) keep up the good work

Button Head Machine screws from mcmaster.com The rings are my design and made by my machinst. The design is not for resale. Although this may change in future months with a slightly different version. Spinner is available through ProlineRacing
I gotta ask this as I am having a tough time figuring out how I will put a blow hole in my case for my radiator. I'm also trying to find some low-profile molding to mount it, but so far the smallest I have found is 1/4". It seems to me that everyone just uses edge molding and then attaches the mesh to their fans or case some other way.
hey mnpctech, you know how hard your site was to find the other day? it took me 3 days total! until i remembered a case name you had on there... lol stupid me... anyways, when are you gonna update that site? you are one true modder! keep up the good work! and this new case rocks!
@ user0001, sorry I can't help ya out there. I'm too busy moddin! However, keep your eyes on this page. mnpctech has hired custom bike painter, Lin Anderson to do exclusive one-of-a-kind paint jobs on these Thermaltake Tsunamis. Another Blowhole for Harley Davidson 100th Anniversary Rig I envisioned a blowhole evocative of a carb or gas cap assembly. CNC Machined aluminum ring Fan mounting grommets U-Channel molding CNC machined aluminum 80 to 92mm adapter Perforated stainless steel 80mm Coolermaster RED LED The "HD" was to be placed in center of mesh. I decided it was too much. If you were lucky, you got to purchase one of the 50 cnc machined 80 -92mm adapters I made last year. Modder friends got freebies ^_^ Too bad I never engraved anything on them. 92mm hole punched w/ Greenlee Dye Cutter. Roper Whitney hand punch for mounting holes. Fan mounting grommets U-Channel molding CLEAN MODDIN
I love the HD case, and have been watching it since you first posted pics of it. It would have been nice to have seen it completed last year though.
You don't have holes in the case for the allen head screws that are visible on the outter ring...so are they only for looks, or do they go though the case. Perhaps only 4 of them are real screws, for mounting the fan and all the others are fake?
Agree. Other things just had more priority. 4 mounted through case. Other 4, screwed into ring. Logo panel was finished yesterday My reflection in paint finish
