Hi, folks. This is my first Mini Itx project. Also its first in the world, I think. I cant see any Amiga Itx projects on the net until now. My Commodore 64 and Car Itx projects are also in progress. Sorry, there is no step by step guide is available with this project. Firstly, I buy an Amiga 500. I was buy a Mini Itx mobo and a Mini Itx PSU. Installation is not so hard. I stable mobo, psu and 3,5 inch harddrive Amiga’s back cover. I’ll be use 2,5 inch laptop hard drive in the future, but I havent yet money. I placed the mobo Amiga’s top left corner. It’s ports more suitable in this position. I prefer most left hole to place the reset button. I put the power button one of the Jostick ports. There is an ATX power extender cable between PSU and mobo. I extend the psu’s power input one of the other Jostick ports on the back. There is some problems with keyboard. Most of the new pc keyboards are made from plastic only circuit-board and keys are attached to the front cover. Also, keyboard’s back cover are needed for keys stabilty. Beacuse of this, I cant use a new type pc keyboard. Its not fit inside Amiga’s case. I search old type, made from PCB only keyboard. I found some types. It’s keys are attached to the PCB. Also some dremel work is here. I cut some parts of Amiga’s front cover and keyboard backplate to fit new keyboard. I attach Amiga’s original Power and Drive lights to the new mobo. Also new keyboard’s Caps Lock and Num Lock lights are visible (after some dremel work) on the front cover. I’ll be add a slimline cd/dvd player when I have enought fund. Thats all. Here is pictures :

Nope, there's a problem with the site hosting your pics. Shame, I was looking forward to seeing them... No matter. I'll just try again later.
I thought I saw a amiga pc in CustomPc a few issues ago... I shall see if I can find it. [EDIT] my bad, t'was a sinclair
why not just use http://www.imageshack.us the bandwidth never exceeds.. and its free.. just means u have to upload indiviual pics.. but you can register a free account to upload multiple images, and keep track of them btw.. it does sound original.. but i wonder if this was kept with original spec, or updated to modern HW http://gallery.moddingplanet.it/wm.php?pid=1572&mode=fullsize and http://www.tux-mania.de/hcc/daten/moding/a500_mod.html

Oh, did you mention yet that this is the first in the world? It's offcourse a very nice project, nicely done so far.. however, i wouldn't call it finished yet (dunno if you do?). If i'd were you, i'd get out the bondo and start working on the case, filling all the black holes in the keyboard, and close up the backplate. Then spray the whole thing in the original colour, and you got a definatly rocking mod It's nice the way it is now, but in my opninion it shows that it's 'just' an amiga case with PC stuff bolted into it. With a little effort you could make it really a killer mod
I don't know exactly what you're going to do with it... but if you mean you're the first to mod that kind of computer, you're wrong. this guy even made his own, in Wood
Love that Din5->PS/2 converter. My AMD system has one /me needs a new keyboard... Not really my style but it seems fairly well done. Except the parallel and mouse ports seem to be blocked...
