    I'm 19 too, and this was my first computer (it's really odd to see it again after all these years):

    That there on the screen, in glorious EGA colour, is GEM, one of the very first GUIs. It sucked, it would probably have been better if it didn't have to load off both the 5 1/4" disks first, having no hard drive.

    Oh, and...

    You know you're a geek when you attempt to out-geek other people :blush:

    Your desk, office, workspace, apartment, or entire house looks like a tornado just passed through, but all of the files on the computer are arranged in a neat, orderly and logical fashion.

    You can type overly complex sentences online using only one hand, and suffer only a slight deficit in speed.

    Yes, that I do realise and know, that's the simple part, it allows MSN's servers to be less lag intensive as only the orignal connection is served through them, but the actual exchange of information between the two computers is conducted directly. However, my point still stands as rather amusing, as both computers had to connect with a remote MSN server just to be able to transfer a few files between themselfs, even though they we're litteraly inches away....
