Heh that thing is massive!! How many PCs are you cooling with that lot!

I have a quick question about your res, there is a thin tube running out of the bottom into the top, whats it for?

Er, dude. What are you planning to cool with that? Nuclear powerplant? :worried:

    Still, impressive work so far.

Prolly to check the water level, he might also be going for passive cooling or VERY few fans.

Very astute my dear Watson. You have hit the the nail on the head. Going for extreme quiet. These fans actually spin up at 5 volts and are dead silent. The pump is sitting on 2.5 inches of foam, so no vibration. With the sides and top off, you cannot here this thing from 5 feet away.

Ah yes, my favorite kind of cooling. Overkill.

I wanted to find two cheap towers and bolt those mothers together and dedicate one side to cooling.

:jawdrop: I just thought of something. I have two dragons! Albeit one is destroyed. If I can bend the front/back into shape that can be the cooling side! Woot.

    case

I found a surplus place by my work that buys computers for scrap. I picked up a couple of these real cheap, like 10 bucks each. Even had the power supplies in them. All they do is pull the cpus, hard drives and memory and trash the rest. Think it is an IBM S720 or S702.. Same size as having 2 full towers setting side by side with a divider in the middle.

*sigh* I want two FULL tower alum. dragons... That'd be sweet. Alas I am not rich. But I DO want to try dual cores one day. Pelted.

...so I was looking at all those cool shuttles, how nice are they? so small, so inconspicous...but then I though what If I could LIVE in my computer? I could use the water cooling excess to shower with? And the heatsink could cook my food and keep me warm! And I could have a computer INSIDE the other computer....... :eeek:
