Internet Radio: Which one do you use? Just beginning to get to the point where all the music i brought with me to uni is becoming repetative. Can anybody recommend quality online stations? So far the only one i have really enjoyed is: Radio 42 which is kinda chillout stuff. (Link opens streaming music in WMP)
www.drumnbasstv.com www.ragga-jungle.com www.bassdrive.com www.dnbradio.net www.di.fm Uhhh, I think there's more, but I can't remember right off hand.
I try to avoid internet radio. I don't like the low bitrates and I can't control what's playing. Although, I have used the built in Internet Radio browser in Winamp and the iTunes internet radio.
A friend of mine is raving about this, I might give it a try: http://www.real.com/rhapsody/?src=102504realhome_1_3_2_2_1_1 It's not free but seems reasonable..
I dont listen to internet radio since I reinstalled my winTV/FM radio card; I now listen to local stations; but before I listened to Digitally imported constantly
i'll listen to launchcast everynow and then http://launch.yahoo.com it's decent, but you have to pay to get rid of comercials and higher quality music/videos
Thanx for the links guys Lovin' Digitally Imported. Mozart mixed with a bit of Trance can't help but make coursework more funny.
Shoutcast via Winamp 5. There's nothing better, really. Usually ambient stuff, Groove Salad, Chillout or Digitally Imported.
Shoutcast via Winamp 3. There's nothing better, really. Usually ambient stuff, Groove Salad, Chillout or Digitally Imported. So basically ^^ Has to be ambient stuff so I'm not too distracted.
none, the sound quality is too low on all the ones i have found. the best being 128Kb/s which is still too low :/
good enough to be radio... Better than the radoi broadcasted radio anyway, as you have more to choose between.. where i live we have 5 radio channels.. none of the plays music that i like... just this hitlist crap...
if you have a decent tuner and external aerial, listen to bbc radio 3,4 some of the quality is amzing. just a shame dab is gonna ruin it. it might be clearer in poor reception areas but the quality is not as good.
Dreamscape Chilled -> Glowdot Some Random Chillout -> Digitally Imported Rock'One Kription Xfidelity XRM Alternative Radiomax.hu I tend to only listen to webradio when I'm doing work and don't want music with words [hence first two in the list are most listened to]
