My new rig will consist of...

    AMD 64 3500 (939)
Corsair XMS Extreme Memory Speed Series (2x512)
EVGA nVIDIA GeForce 6800 GT Video Card, 256MB GDDR3, 256-Bit
ASPIRE (Turbo Case) X-Pider Black ATX Full Tower Case with 420W Power Supply

My question is about the mobo, I'm going to be mainly using this for everyday tasks so I want reliability and I'm also going to be playing a bunch of fps games. Any questions, comments or concerns are welcome.

It would be a good idea to buy a seperate psu if you are buying said equipment, many a system goes down due to a cheap psu i can also vouch for that as i have my sis's comp sat next to me with a duff psu :grr: Look into buying one from enermax, antec, etc.. Just :search: and u'll find loads of recomendations for psu's around here :thumb: .

I vote for MSI K8N Neo Platinum 2 mobo and a better case with no PSU. Buy a PSU that is recomended through reviews or the forums. Personally, I have chosen the PC Power and Cooling 510 because it matches the high end system I'm building. Their specs should give you an idea of what to look for though.

that ram is perfect if your not a overclocker. Nice low latency. Nice Speed :D

Imo i'd go for both of them, not because ive got the motherboard but i think its really good. Also make sure you can get a Revision 2 as it has a few more bits n bobs on it :D

    I think so anyway :p
