    hi...


    is there a minimum mcd for a blue LED for in my logitech optical mini mouse?

    And How can i make a new LED conecting in my mouse... where can i make the LED...

    I wouldn't suggest anything lower then 2-3k. As far as making the connection dependent on the mouse, The easiest thing to do is snip the legs of the old LEd and it it in there

    When I did my LED change (infrared in my case), I soldered directly to the +5v and G sources from the USB connection. Although unlike most bl00 LEDs, my IR draws ~100mA instead of ~20. Careful though, it's really small to work with, at least in my mouse. I had to use fan wire from a 3-to-4 pin adaptor and find all sorts of tricky places to route it.

    bought LEDs

    i just bought 10 bright bleu 5mm leds (4000mcd) and 10 bright white 5mm LEDs (10000mcd)

    It should be fine. It doesn't have to shine very far, so the angle doesn't matter a lot... Most mice have a little lens in front of the LED to focus it anyway :)
