Linux aMSN how do i open it *shamed*

alright i did it i steped over to fedora
this is my first post with linux.
now i downloaded aMSN from sourceforge.
how do i open/install this?
(i want to chat with my friends again you know)

 

unzipp and read readme?

 

Usually untar and then read INTSTALL.TXT

 

There is a step by step guide in the documentation (RTFM ), so easy infact that 4 years ago when I first came to uni I was able to set it up 10 mins after loggining into the departments redhat machines for the first time (the first 10 was trying to figure out how to change the password they gave me).

 

i did that
i understan everything,
untill i need to run the file
i dont know witch file it is
i unpacked it in /home/tigra/amsn-0_94
whitch file do i need to open?

or do i need to unpack it with a file that i need to download first?

 

when in that directory:

./amsn

There is much documentation about getting it to automatically start, minimise to 'system tray' etc... At first you will have to read through a bit of documentation but this way you will learn.
