True, but you can go ghetto and use some cable sleeve (spiral wrap) or some copper (other?) wire on the ouside to give the same effect. I've seen another type of those "cool sleeves" (product) but fitted in the tube wall itself (part of the tube ). No link. Dunno where it was. Or you could just use a spring to do the same , on the inside of the tube (just make sure it's copper , corrosion is a nasty thing), similar to the electrician's method of bending pvc pipes (hate it, had plenty of experience on that a few years back). Anyway, just a few ideas.
dont know exactly why, but I REALLY dont like those coolsleve thingies.. looks too "plastic" I guess. About going ghetto: neh I've seen lots of ghetto computer suitcases, so I'm goint to try to make this as unghetto as possible.. in the end at least There are other ways to keep the tubes from folding.. one is to fasten them to something else (like the dvd burner) at points around the turn. I might try that, but a lot of the 90 degree bends will still have to stay.
u could get some primaflex tubing from www.voyeurmods.com probably couldnt make some of the turns, but it is pretty flexible without flattening...
o, and if ur still looking for radiator fans, silenX.com has 11 dbA fans... decent flow (about 40 cfm i think, too lazy to look up) there really expensive though they also have a 14 dbA with better flow (58 cfm
a subscription.. how cool I've actually just picked up the innovatek radiator and the peltier elements from Acid Burn who brought them to me from Belgium Thank you!!
i plan to make a second suitcase rig, o got uni...it will be ir coole as my main rig is keeping the Watercooling....but very intrested in ho u make it all fit keep it up
right.. this kind of hurts my wallet a bit, but I've found out that I might be able to stuff in another Eheim1250 pump... think that would help on the flow issue?
i think a single 1250 will manage it anyway m8, while arguably u have alot of angles slowing things down, u also have alot less tubing to get through as everythings very close together. Get a 'Hydor L30 II' instead, cheaper, quiter, smaller, and just as strong as a 1250....i have both, trust me
hmm.. how large is that hydor pump? I have set up the system to fit a 1250 now, so inserting a new part with different measurements wont be all that fun, believe me!
