Got a script that bypassess the filters by tunneling through servers.

:naughty: Works 100% on http, you have to host it on your own webserver. To view a page you must put in http://www. Stylings on all websites are the same - Times New Roman and pictures don't always appear. Also, when going to a link, you have to paste the URL to the box. Its a start and me and two other friends are working to modify the script and improve it. Even allows MSN Messenger to work - somehow!

Not for me because IP addresses are blocked. Unless I use my method of avoiding the filter - link doesn't work anyway!

unlikely to help anyone, but we used to use Word to get to the web before any proper browsers were installed (this is about '97)

you could always install FireFox on a USB drive, and set the proxy to the unfilterd.

Admins cant stop you from installing from and two a usb stick. You will have to set the proxy to unfilterd each time you logon though.

You can do this with messenger to and just change the proxy address.

Try it and let me know what happens for you.

A good site that I always used was www.rrdb.org. Just go to the anonymizer and you'll be set. I've never seen that site blocked on a filtered network ;)

well worcestershire county council (WCC) is said to have the best filters in the UK. You can't just "not set a proxy" you get no net access then.

Teachers with unfiltered internet have their machines IP addys registered with county so if you get their filter addy (ucache1.networcs.net) you still need your IP registered which is a phone call and 3 security questions.

web addy's are filtered either from county or locally. all anonymisers and etc. have been checked.

Nothing can beat it.. fantastic system really

Use www.securetunnel.com you just type the address of the website you want to view in the box on the page and press go and it goes to the site but in the address bar securetunnel is still at the begining and it is not blocked so it is allowed pass the school filters
