Glad you're ok Bindi I almost ended up hitting some dude who was trying to cross a devided highway (45mph speed limit) on a don't walk signal last night (also was dark), it scared the crap out of me (and him too I think ). Came around the corner and there is this dude in the middle of the street with that "deer in headlights" expression plastered all over his face... On the way back I noticed skidmarks
Jesus Bindi, so glad you're alright. Did you manage to get a souviener, like a piece of the windscreen or some bloody soaked jeans or anything else you could frame? You seem to be looking on the bright side at least
Ouch! Get well soon Bindi. I struggle to cross the road outside work most nights to catch the bus home (the traffic is murder and it's a 40mph road). The village petitioned for a crossing on the road and the council declined it saying it's not necessary (yeah right - come half four you take your life in your hands crossing that road)
Wow... get better soon Rich, sounds really painful - hope you get some compensation. As for your finals, if Oxford's any guide they'll just extrapolate a result from you based on previous results and what your tutors think you were on course to get... but I guess they might write special new exams for you. Anyway you really shouldn't worry about that (as you don't seem to be ).
No, and now i have time off to play too! Its been shipped so should be here next week latest. Nothing came off, although im tempted to sew my jeans back together in some new fashion trend. Thanks peeps 'M at home being mothered now, which is nice.
Sorry to hear about the acky. Take it easy and don't to anything to strain the ahhhhh... umm.... affected area. In slightly poorer taste, weren't there a couple of Greek Olympians in the news recently who were in an "accident" because they didn't want to take a test? I'm sure this is not the case with you Bindi. Chin up and you'll be right as rain in no time. Do you have to sit the tests at a later date?
Feel better soon Bindi. At least you didn't get hit by a bus, 4x4 or someone who didn't stop to make sure you were ok. Out of interest, which road was it that you got run over on? Take it easy, like Cadbury's Caramel. Oi! I drive a Punto, and I haven't run anyone over yet. Though I could make an exception for you H (jk)
i read the thread title and laughed, sorry but you really should check both ways when crossing the road. maybe if u didnt sit infront of ur screen so much u wud have more common sense lmao !
On the road. My pants seem to have survived (not sure about the dude from the middle of the road however ).
I wonder if you would still be saying that if say your mother or father got hit and killed by a car eh? Idiot, have some sympathy eh? Accidents do happen...
The reverse is also true. I could make a exception for Punto's in your case Anyway get well soon Bindi and milk it for all it's worth,
I have to admit, I do agree you are looking on the bright side, but this thread is highly funny lmao.... But yes, bad but funny.. - S
I gotta go back to the Royal in manc. a week monday see the knee doc there, but however long damaged ligaments and bruises take really. Ive been told my brain wont be back to "normal" for a few weeks n all.
Your brain was never normal even before the accident Seriously though, sounds pretty nasty...hope you heal quickly!
Blast it! If bindi's brain goes to normal he's gonna figure out he is wasting his time here... Someone clock him over the head on a bi-weekly basis
