    Hi,

I used to love Lego. I bought the huge car when I was like 12-14. It was a big massive black car. You could also make a F1 of it. It had everything. It was the best. But they are terribly expensive.

    The car was expensive aswell.

I have no idea where the car is right now, probably somewhere in the junkrooms. lol.

Lego rules! Its the start of every builder, lol.

Yup, the older Lego rules loads, I don't like the new stuff so much although the Star Wars Classic sets are still pretty good compared to other themes.

When I was younger I used to collect the 'Space Lego'
I thought I had lost it but my mom had kept it in the attic and I was nicely surprised and grateful to have it again.

Its pretty old and some of the pieces are missing / broken but it still rocks IMO:

I have this one sitting on my shelf :D

Lego is witout a doubt the best toy ever. I have a huge box of it but unfortunatly alot of parts have gone missing over the years so building the complete models is pretty impossible.

Its still great tho. I quite often make some custom model when my little cousins come round.

I have lots of the smaller kits that cost about £6 cous thats all i could afford when i was 6. I have the big Aquanorts?? submarine, The original fire station from the late 80s (they changes the firestation kit shortly after i got it so its quite rare), Lots of technics etc.

Wow, that takes me back. I have the one in the top left (the moonbase), which was my first serious excursion into Lego. I was obsessed with the space kits though, M-Tron, Blacktron, the newer ones that I can't remember as well as I was growing up (those Ice ones, some Spy robot things too?) and then I went over to Technic. Chinook rocks, yo :D

Yeah I think I built a lego car which had a engine which moved when the car was driven by the remote control...

It was something else like Lego Technics or something, I still remember there being this awesome F1 car with moving engine pistons and stuff when they moved...

    Damn awesome stuff........................... :jawdrop:

Thanks for all the memories guys

Wish I kept all my LEGO and when I get a house of my own with lots of space, rebuild an entire LEGO city, they don't make them like they used to. :waah:

Classic space was awesome! I have tons of it, as well as 3/4 of all the original blacktron (before it went to the lame neon green and white).

My favourite genres were definately as followed

    1. Town
    2. Classic Castle
    3. Classic space

I agree that the Starwars sets are done very well, but it seems as though lego puts all of it's efforts into that one line now... the other genres they have are horrible.

I've still one of these under my bed. The pistons in the engine would move up and down like RL when you turned the wheels.

Technics will be my child's first really, really cool toy.

Actual Technics too, none the new style Lego BS with pre-manufactured and curved parts for added realism.
