i would go for creative labs speakers as they are very good quality. I have the 4.1 creative labs speakers and they are really good.
i recommend any model of cambridge soundworks speakers they never distort ( i know i have the Destop Theater Playworks 2500 ) and for most people they are not TOO pricey
yeah, creative's Cambridge Soundworks speakers are the dogs! I've got myself DTT2200 5.1 & 2.1 digital on 2nd rigg. They are brilliant! (better than my rather expensive hi-fi separate system) Doh! AoD
Ive been recently looking @ the logitech z-560's or if you want a cheaper version without THX go for the z-540's. I want new speakers too but I havent heard the (newest?) kipslich promedias and want to know which I should get.......
yamaha yst -ms50 i have these and the sub woofer on these basterds is superb! the sound quality is xelent too. (use them for pissing off the neibours) i payed £80 2 years ago (my dad bought them 4 me from pc world)
the creative fps 1600 are very good from what ive heard (my mates go them) so i guess anything above that from the creative range should be quite good...
if you could afford it id get some proper hifi speakers and an amp but thats dependant on ur budget....
My DTT 2200s are superb. 5.1 sound, classy black colour the DTT 2500s are better cause they are digital though, but if u can afford it the sound works DTT3500s! the dogs!! :dude:
thx for the response guys. i alos decided i want these speakers, despite reading about the amp blowing due to drawing in to much power. ive read that these things sound great - just gotta find me a uk reseller now
simple go to richer sounds tell them you want an amp & speakers for £100 & they could sort out an amp & propper speakers jsut connect that to your soundcard out
I have the Logitech z560, and I love them. They look cool, sound great, and are really cheap for a THX sound system. Overall I think that all Logitech products are very well made, and for the most part cheaper than the competition. I would not spend $400 for a set of Kipslich as I feel you can't tell the difference, and I could use the extra $250 for so much other cool stuff. My 2¢
