Yes, I have Windows XP Pro and somehow my OS did not load usb 2.0 into the system. The Soyo Motherboard does support 2.0 I checked. I have tried to download the SP1a and nothing at all. I plug in any usb device and it comes up "you are plugging a high speed device into a non high speed port"--I know! Any Ideas of drivers for me to download??

I need 2.0 for my Zen Touch!

    usb 2.0

I checked in the manual and nothing was said. I am sure it supports USB 2.0

    My motherboard is a SY-P4VGM Version 1.0
    Features:
Intel Pentium 4 (Prescott Ready!) All-In-One Micro ATX Motherboard Featuring DDR200/266 Memory Support, On-board 2-ch Audio, GFX Graphics ProSavage8™ Integrated Graphics, 10/100 Mbps LAN, High Speed USB 2.0

    What should I do+?

That took a whole lot of investigating. I swear, do people not know how to search for stuff anymore. All Your Drivers. It should be the third one down. Google is your friend.

Have you installed Service pack 2??? Only service pack 2 supports USB 2.0 If its not installed then your USB will never run at usb 2.0 speeds.

Right click on mycomputer - properties - hardware - device manager.

If no service pack 2 installed then in the device manager it will have a yellow error icon next to USB 2.0

I thought USB2 support was included with SP1.

If not then my SP1 PC has got some new fangled kind of uber-fast USB1 connection to my camera.

Yes, service pack 1 supports USB 2.0 natively  The only problem that you will run into however is that most boards that do have 2.0 will require the patch drivers that are included on the driver install CD that came with the board.

So have you dont what others have suggested? Checked the BIOS? Installed the USB2.0 drivers? That's all you should need to do. Come back when you've done those things.

I had the same issue with mine before SP2. The solution that I found at M$ Support was to open the device manager, select the USB controller, and force a manual update of all the devices in the USB branch.
