    nice review(s).
Well timed too, since I'm looking to re-case my PC, including quieter cooling.

just one comment: from the last page of the review itself, it's not immediately obvious which of the last two got the prize. (obviously, the above clarifies it.)
(okay, two comments:) could you maybe include some currency conversion in the comparison table? (and reassure me that they're available both sides of the pond.)

Thanks for thenice words, took a long time... fitting non-linear curves in origin isn't as easy as it should be :sigh:

Most of the heatsink's were provided by UK companies, hence the prices in GBP and links to UK sites... seems unfair on the suppliers to link to anyone but them or quote anything but their prices :)

    Rob.

p.s. take your point about the last page, but it's pretty obvious if you read the text ;)

I know, because of who supplied them...

As for Corvyne's comment on the material Foxconn used; sounds very reasonable given the weight of the sink and its performance - well spotted! With its performance as it is it's not one to buy anyway, so the material used is here nor there ;)

Thanks for the interesting roundup. It's great to read a review written by a scientist!

A useful addition for me would have been a comparison to the stock cooler that AMD supplies with the Sempron in its retail packages. This would give an indication of what improvement could be expected from investing in a cooler upgrade.

Thanks and agreed - I'd have put one in the roundup if I'd had access to one :)

    *dredges up thread*

How did you graph those readings from MBM? I've found MBM Log but I'd like to export to CSV so I can do somthing funky with the data in Excel or somting.

MBM - settings - Interval & SysLog, set the maximum entries to 1000, tick the CSV box and tell it where you want it to save the file. Easy peasy.
