Windows Outlook - could it be more vague?

    trying to set up outlook xp for my mother, and whenever I try to send/recieve from the main menu, i get an error - operation failed, object not found. I mean could it be any more vague? funny thing is when i test the acct, from the account settup it gets through (checked on webmail) grrr....

    i have tried removing and reinstalling outlook and accounts nothing seems to work. any suggestions?

    glad i use thunderbird :D

    i use outlook express and never had any issues at all. try using outlook express and see if you get the same errors...

    express worked great.. had something to do with profiles... neways got it working but geeze I mean throw me a clue on where to even start LOL

    great now i get home and I got a message that her palm won't sync up (entire reason for switch) guess what... the palm only registers to the origional outlook profile :wallbash: :/EDIT:
