Ok I have 2x256 Corsair XMS 3200 and according to CPUZ its one stick is running at 2700. I had some1 tell me its my divider, but On my MSI 875P Motherboard and my 2.8c It doenst have anything about multiplyers ANYWERE and I have seen others talk about it. Anyone have any idea on what to do? I tryed to deOverclock but still same thing. I normally run @ 3.36GHZ but Heres some PICS default.

you need to change it in your bios. thats what i had to do. might either be your cpu/dram ratio or one of the other settings!

It's an incorrect BIOS setting. Doesn't mean you're keyboard has to explode, however :eyebrow:

According to those images you are indeed running a divider (5:4). You'll need to change a bios setting to get this to 1:1. It's not a multiplier, its a divider and will probably be found in the RAM settings somewhere (some mobos have divider settings 1:1, 5:4 etc etc, whilst others have speed settings, 166(333), 200(400), etc.)

Mine has a 400 FSB Setting for the RAM. Mine is on 400 when I took those screenies, yet it still stays at 5:4. I have no clue what to do. Ive got latest bios everything. Im clueless as to what else to try.

mayb its an error in cpu-z unlikly but possible, also try the sticks in another computer to make sure its not wrongly labled ram, again unlikly but possible (has happened twice to me) :)

well, i can't offer much on how to fix it as i have the same problem with my PC3200. nvMonitor shows the RAM as being locked to the CPU fsb. I tweaked the settings every way i could think of, but it always forced the RAM to the CPU.

I'm thinking that it's a limitation in the way the manufacturer implemented support for single/double sided memory and single/dual channel interfacing.

    btw: Albatron KX18D ProII, athlon XPM 2200+ @ 1333 (133 x 10), 2x256MB PC3200 (3-3-3-8)
