ive seen cars with the photochromic paint on, and :jawdrop: is right, it is *astounding*, even more so when you see one screaming around a track, engine screaming past you as the car flys by with its colour morphing from one to the other as it screams past. i swear its a thing of beauty.

ive also seen a guy (just once) in derby with part of his motorcycle painted with thermochromic paint, the bit between the handlebars and the seat (i dont know what it is, im not a mech-head, but i think its the fuel-tank). its an amzing effect.

Chomex, you are a genius. i'll definately be emailing chromepaint.com for some more info on some of the paints they offer, they have some awesome effects.

As far as Photochromatic Paint and pearlescant paint goes I've painted quite a few in my time ;)
I have been a panel beater/sprayer for over 15 years and seem some pretty wild spray jobs.
I'm also from the North West of England ;)

The only thing is, Photochromatic Paint is very very expensive!

Tbh I have also been spraying cases and parts of cases for a number of years. I have just started my own website dedicated to spray jobs and mods on cases.
It's not quite finished but there are a couple of examples on there. I plan on having tutorials explaining the full ins and outs of things.

If anyone would like to have a look, pop on over. I'd like to here any views etc. Url is http://www.totallycustomised.co.uk

Ok, here are 2 places in the UK that no one's mentioned yet, and they both do wide ranges of colour-shifting, pearlescent etc etc

    http://www.rage-extreme.com/index.asp

    and

    http://www.smdesigns.co.uk/

The website for the second one is in the middle of being redone but if my memory serves me correctly they had the cheapest prices for specialist paints i've seen in the UK. afaik the guy is still trading as normal so if you're interested you could always drop an email his direction for a price list.
